Abstract
Purpose: to induce comparing between microleakage of ceramic reinforced glass ionomer and resin- modified glass ionomer in primary teeth and permanent teeth. Materials and Methods: A total of 60 human non carious primary molars and premolars were selected. The chosen teeth were induced to extract for the purpose of over retention or orthodontic aim. For the estimation of marginal adaptation, Class V cavities had been induced to design on teeth that were selected for grouping and filing with Amalgomer and resin modified glass ionomer. The specimens were induced to undergo dye penetration test. The sections were induced to evaluate it under stereomicroscope at x 40x magnification. Results: The marginal adaptation was found significant (P < 0.05) for all study groups, with Riva self-cure showing maximum followed by amalgomer group. Conclusion: Teeth with Riva self-cure revealed high marginal adaptation than Amalgomer.
