Abstract
Purpose Evaluate and compare fracture resistance and micro-hardness of Nu-smile youth zirconia crowns and CAD/CAM zirconia crowns after thermocycling. Settings and Design In vitro comparative study. Methods and Material Twenty-four zirconia crowns for young first permanent molars were used. They were 12 ready-made Nu-Smile youth zirconia crowns and 12 custom-made Katana zirconia crowns. All crowns were mounted and cemented on a negative replica. All crowns were immersed in a mechatronic thermo-cycler. Fracture resistance tests was done by using universal testing machine. While micro-hardness was determined by using a Digital Display Vickers Tester. Maximum breaking loads were recorded. Statistical analysis Statistical analysis was performed using Graph-Pad Instat statistics software (version 3.06) for Windows. the differences between the groups revealed by student t-test (P= 0.003
